PEG has rapidly acquired over 50 new titles, most recently it acquired FOREVER MY GIRL based on the romance novel and released theatrically by Roadside Attractions on 1200 screens, the coming-of-age dramedy THE HOUSE OF TOMORROW starring Asa Butterfield, rom-com COUPLES VACATION starring David Arquette and Amy Acker, cop-thriller ABDUCTION aka DEVIL’S GATE starring Milo Ventimiglia, Tribeca comedy THE LAST POKER GAME starring Martin Landau, RUN THE TIDE starring Taylor Lautner, and psychological thriller NEVER HERE starring Mireille Enos and Sam Shepard. Their library includes Sundance drama LITTLE ACCIDENTS starring Elizabeth Banks and Josh Lucas along with the comedic drama MATCH starring Patrick Stewart and Carla Gugino, THE PREPPIE CONNECTION with Thomas Mann, WE DON’T BELONG HERE with Catherine Keener and Anton Yelchin, and AFTERNOON DELIGHT which garnered Jill Soloway the Best Director award at Sundance. Projects in post-production include the action-thriller INCOMING starring Scott Adkins which PEG co-produced.

Elias Axume, President & CEO


Elias Axume is an accomplished film distribution executive with over 16 years of experience in the international market. Mr. Axume was the former head of sales at Myriad Pictures, where he oversaw worldwide sales, distribution and acquisitions. He worked on a diverse slate of titles including DEATH DEFYING ACTS with Catherine Zeta-Jones, FACTORY GIRL with Sienna Miller, COPYING BEETHOVEN with Ed Harris, EVERYDAY with Helen Hunt, and SALVATION BLVD. with Pierce Brosnan. Other successes include Josh Radnor’s 2010 Sundance Audience Award-winner HAPPYTHANKYOUMOREPLEASE, Horton Foote’s MAIN STREET with Colin Firth and Orlando Bloom, and the Wall Street thriller MARGIN CALL with Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore, Zachary Quinto and Paul Bettany. Mr. Axume has been able to establish long term relationships with all major independent theatrical distributors and TV buyers around the world, generating millions in revenue. He oversees feature films through the entire process of acquisition, development, production, marketing, worldwide sales and distribution, as well as structuring of international co-productions/financing partnerships. Mr. Axume was raised in Los Angeles. He holds a M.A. in Mass Communications and B.A. in Film Production and speaks Spanish and English. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his family.


Carlos Rincon, VP of Development & Acquisitions


Carlos Rincon is responsible for working directly with producers at Premiere. He identifies films, screens them and works in tandem with the sales team to determine a project’s international value. A highly regarded acquisitions executive, he is known for his rapport with producers as well as his deep understanding of film both art and commerce. Prior to joining Premiere, Carlos was the Head of Acquisitions for Spotlight Pictures. During his time there, he acquired films that starred award-winning actors such as Jessica Chastain, Jason Schwartzman, Katie Holmes, and Dakota Johnson, Jean Reno, Mila Kunis, William Hurt, and Rosamund Pike. Focusing on long-term relationships, Carlos has worked on five films with actor/filmmaker James Franco and his production company Rabbit Bandini. Carlos is a graduate of the Los Angeles Film School. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.

Alba Haya, Manager of Sales and Distribution & Producer

Alba Haya grew up in Madrid (Spain) and she now resides in Los Angeles since 2014. Her experience in the international market  include a profound insight into the media industry. She spent five years running her own production company in Spain, Now & Always. She has worked in several films productions with talents such as Ashley Judd, Elisabeth Röhm, Sean Patrick Flanery, Matt Doran among others. She has worked for companies such as Mediaset Spain producing several TV programs. Her relationships in the creative and financial world and her broad knowledge of the industry adds great value to PEG. She is bilingual in Spanish and English; She has worked in London, Madrid and Los Angeles bringing with her a worldwide of experience and knowledge. She also worked closely with investors and producers in all aspects of film development, financing, production, sales , marketing, distribution and collection.


Gabriela Axume, Manager of International Distribution


Gabriela Axume has recently joined Premiere Entertainment Group. She is the Manager of International Distribution and oversees all feature preparation for the film markets as well as all Sales Administration. Axume grew up in Los Angeles, where she graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema and Television Arts

Oscar Axume, Controller

Oscar I. Axume, CPA is a partner in the accounting firm of Hardaway Axume Weir CPAs, LLP in Bakersfield, California. Since PEG’s inception in 2012, his firm has served as the Company’s CPA firm responsible for the reporting and tax compliance requirements with state and federal agencies. Effective September 1, 2016, he is assuming a more active role in PEG’s accounting and financial management. As such, Oscar is serving as PEG’s Controller. He received his CPA certificate from the State of California in 2004. He received his degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting from California State University Northridge in 1997. Since then, he has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to local individuals and businesses in the greater San Fernando and Central Valley areas. His expertise ranges from basic tax management and accounting services to more in-depth services such as financial statement compilations, reviews and financial planning.
